The Bottled Water initiative is a practice in which bottled water isn't bought at all. Instead, filtered or unfiltered tap water is used. This initiative is both money-saving and environmentally friendly; reducing the amount of plastic used to create the bottles, and reducing the amount of gas used to transport the bottles.
Features[]
- By not using bottled water at all, a family that drinks one litre per day for an entire year will have saved $313. The more tap water that the person or family drinks, the more money is saved.
- According to multiple taste tests, bottled water tastes identical to tap water. This fact has been verified multiple times; the difference in taste is simply an illusion created by the packaging.
